Our goal is to breed for an exceptional herd of conformationally correct, robust, fine-fleeced huacaya alpacas.  We remain focused on the steadily evolving alpaca industry by consulting with other breeders throughout the nation, as well as attending annual AOBA events, workshops and seminars.

Limerick Hill is a small, family-run farm that chose to transition from the high maintenance world of horses to the joy of raising alpacas.  The addition of these amazing animals into our family has been an incredibly rewarding experience.

Our herd is the center of our family's life... the alpacas have become our "balance".  As we all come together to partake in their routine care, even the most chaotic day seems to relax once we enter the barn.  There isn't anything like watching a cria snuggle up to one of our children, bound through the snow or gently hum in our ear.  We love sharing our lives with our alpacas!

Along with several years of experience caring for various livestock, we have a meticulous herd health regimen.  I am a Registered Nurse and have naturally adapted to the administration of vaccinations and supplements as well as maintaining accurate herd health records.  We have an excellent nutrition program that is clearly reflected in the fleece, structure and overall health of our alpacas.

Whether we are obtaining new information or educating others, we always enjoy "talking alpaca"! We understand the importance of continuous support and are devoted to our customer's needs now and at all times throughout their alpaca endeavors.
